How to Print Dealertrack to PDF

Short answer: it depends on the form. Several F&I and Sales forms can save to PDF natively in Dealertrack. Most Parts, Service, and Business Office forms cannot, because their logos, borders, and column headers only render when the form is sent to a printer. For those, a virtual printer like PrintSent captures the same formatted output as a branded PDF. Here is how to do each.

If the form has a native PDF option (F&I and Sales)

1. Open the form in Dealertrack.
2. Use the built-in save or export to PDF option where it is available.
3. Save the file, or attach it to your email.

When that option exists, it is the simplest path. Where it does not, avoid QPRINT for anything customer-facing: it produces text only, with no logos or layout.

For every other form (with PrintSent)

1. Add PrintSent as a printer in Dealertrack once, pointing at the device on your network.
2. Print the form to that printer exactly as you would to a physical one.
3. Open the shared portal, where the branded, pixel-perfect PDF is waiting to view, email, or download.
