Email a Dealertrack invoice, without printing to scan

Customer invoice, vendor invoice, credit invoice: each one gets requested as a copy, and each one used to mean a trip to the printer and the scanner. PrintSent captures the invoice as a branded PDF the moment it prints from Dealertrack, so it is waiting in the portal to email or download.

The problem

Printed just to send it

A customer wants their invoice for their records, or a vendor wants a copy at month-end. To keep the logos and totals looking right, staff print it, walk to the printer, scan it back in, email it to themselves, and forward it. It is the same lap the parts counter runs a dozen times a day.

QPRINT would give a text-only version with no logos or column layout, which is fine for a quick internal look but not something you send. So the printing continues.

With PrintSent

Print like always, get a branded PDF

Print the invoice in Dealertrack like always, and the branded PDF appears in the shared portal within seconds, ready to email to the customer or vendor, or download. Credit invoices work the same way.

The copy that goes out is purely digital, so it looks the same every time instead of depending on who scanned it.

What you can send

  • A customer's copy of their invoice
  • A vendor's invoice copy, especially at month-end
  • A credit invoice sent as a clean PDF instead of a scan
It saves me a dozen trips a day, from my desk to the printer, then to the scanner, just to email a vendor invoice. When vendors ask for copies at month-end, I just open the PDF in the portal and forward it. Huge time saver!
